Charlotte Church (born February 21 the 21st of February, 1986) is an opera star from Llandaff Wales in the United Kingdom. Welsh singer/songwriter is well-known for her the classical and pop music of her time. She's sold 10 million albums around the world. The singer debuted with the top-selling song Crazy Chick. Church would love to portray Hermione Grenger in Harry Potter but Church wanted Emma Watson instead. The role was instead assigned to Emma Watson. This was followed by a performance at ITV's Big Big Talent Show. Church made several cameo appearances in television. She appeared in Touched by an Angel and starred on her own Heartbeat Christmas special which aired in 1999. Church also appeared in the episodes Have I Got News For You in 2002, 2003, and 2012 (the second time she served as host and was the first to be the youngest panellist on show history). In 2005 she played herself on an episode of The Catherine Tate Show in an episode with the fictional character Joannie Taylor. In 2008, she was a guest in a sketch in Katy Brand's Big Ass Show.
