Summer Glau
Glau's first TV credit was as a guest star on the episode in 2002 of Angel. She was spotted by director JossWhedon. She was eventually was cast as River Tam in the critically-acclaimed TV series Firefly. The role was also reprised for Serenity's feature film sequel. Glau previously auditioned for the part of an Power Ranger (White Wild Force Ranger Alyssa Erile) in Power Rangers Wild Force but was defeated by the actress Jessica Rey before meeting Whedon.Glau played the role in the episode "Love Conquer Al" of the TV series Cold Case. She had a small role in the movie Sleepover in which she played high school senior Shelly. She also appeared on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode, "What's Eating Gilbert Grissom?" " Season two of The Unit as Crystal Burns (the girl who plays Jeremy Erhart). Glau was the paranoid schizophrenia returning Tess Doerner in season 2 of The 4400. She became a regular character during season 3 and beyond. Glau was also a part of Mammoth, a horror comedy. Glau was also cast in ABC Family TV's feature film The Initiation of Sarah. Glau played Cameron Phillips in Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. The series premiered on January 13, 2008. The seventh episode of the series, "The Demon Hand" was filled with scenes in which Glau (in character as Cameron) dances in ballet, Glau also played Allison Young (Cameron's human Doppelganger) in the second season's episodes "Allison from Palmdale" and "Born to Run". Glau has also guest-starred as herself in a 2009 episode of the CBS comedy series The Big Bang Theory
