Lucy Liu is a voice actress singer and director. She's also an actress. She's a beautiful, skilled actress that has inspired many Asian actors to succeed in Hollywood. After a series of initial appearances on popular TV shows, her fame was boosted by joining the crew of the cult comedy show Ally McBeal where she played the malicious Ling Woo. After her success, she landed major parts on the shows Shanghai Noon (1998) and Charlie's Angels (2000). The film Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave an outstanding performance as Japanese crime boss O-Ren Ishii. During this time she was the main character in several flops on the box-office such as Rise: Blood Hunter. In the following years, she started voicing the characters of animated films like Kung Fu Panda or Tinker Bell. Mia Mason's character as a character in Cashmere Mafia, a small screen movie, did not bring about the positive results. Southland was a critically acclaimed series of police dramas which included Liu in multiple parts, helped to establish her status as a performer. Liu is extremely cautious when choosing her roles so that she doesn't become cast in a very competitive industry. Liu is a gifted artist, who is not limited by her ethnicity.
