The budget was more than ten times what it made. Critics also liked it. The actress reprised her character in all the three sequels of the movie. Her fame soared to new heights following her performance in the main part in the cult sitcom Friends. Her performance was recognized with numerous awards and nominations. The program, which quickly became hugely popular, was shown over a period of 10 years on the television. In her most recent work she was a key part as a supporting character in Mothers and Daughters. Awards includes the TV Guide Award, which she received for her performance as a character in Friends. A different award was her Golden Derby Award that she won for her performance in Cougar Town.
